Monday, I got it all packed up and shipped to ICON the juried visual art portion of the Sacred Art Festival in Durango, CO.
Tuesday, I submitted a digital image of "Red Handed..." into an exhibition scheduled for next year called Dark Inheritance based on the scripture Romans 7:24-25.
Wednesday, I attended the monthly meeting of the Burbank Art Association. Our esteemed president and amazing artist Randall Williams, entertained and educated us with a demonstration of sketching glass, and his experiences as a chalk artist. Recently National Geographic interviewed him and did time lapse photography of his chalk work. It will air next year. www.randallwilliamsart.com
Randall volunteered me to the position of Program Chairman. That means I'm in charge of getting artists to speak and do demonstrations for the meetings. I am looking forward to this opportunity to have an 'official' reason to get to know more artists. I have a feeling that we have a wealth of talent within our own group. It could be nice to get to know and learn from each other.
Thursday, I tightened all the screws on my easel! What an amazing difference. Before, I thought it was about to fall completely apart and I guess it actually was. Now it feels brand new! I put a canvas on my newly tightened easel and set to work on a new painting. I love it so far.
Friday was a wonderful, wonderful day. I spent the morning writing an email to Arts Perspective magazine regarding the upcoming winter issue "Art of Healing." Due to the wonderful insights I have received recently from so many great teachers, I was able to be extremely articulate about my role as an artist and the purpose of my artwork. So much so, that later that afternoon I found out that my letter and an image of my artwork will serve to set the tone of the magazine by being placed near the front! www.artsperspective.com
After writing the aforementioned letter, but before receiving the thrilling news, I spent some time with my friend and chiropractor, Dr. Heidi Fennel. I am very excited about showing my work during the month surrounding the 1st Anniversary Party of Inner Movement Chiropractic Wellness Center! My recent angel painting "Fleeting" is featured on the invitation for the event which will take place Wednesday, October 21st. I took measurements and pictures of the space to assist me in planning my exhibit. I'm sure I will have more news on this soon.

Today, I found out that my painting, "Love Saves" did not make it into 'The Show of Heads' at the Limner Gallery in NY. I can't even spare the energy to be disappointed because of the abundance of GREAT things that happened this week. Praise God!!
