A couple of mediocre works from last year received a coat of titanium white and now I am somewhat enamored with the result. I'm not sure whether I will leave them like this or continue. More waiting...

I've been doing 'morning pages' as recommended by Julia Cameron in 'The Artist's Way' for years. I finally decided to include in my morning routine three quick drawings, kind of like automatic drawing.
These are the pens I've been using. The chisel point is my favorite, but it is becoming inkless. They don't last forever. Boo Hoo!
I started out drawing on three individual pages but when it came down to more days than pages left in 2012, I condensed the drawings so that I could end the year with the same sketchpad.
I kind of liked having several drawings on a page so this year I continued but have divided the page in different ways and some days not at all. The first picture below shows drawings from the first two days of the year, the second is from today.
Although certain circumstances currently make me feel vulnerable, I am leaning into that vulnerability with the faith that I have, and I boldly expect great promises to be fulfilled. My vulnerability is not an obstacle to overcome but an acknowledgement of all that
I AM.
