The drive over felt expansive. The desert and sky views were vast, the road was uncluttered, and the music choices were always bold and singable (even when we had to make up the words).
I was inspired by a multitude of characters; by the people who so passionately presented themselves in period costumes, speech, and mannerisms as well as the performers, artists, and craftsman who reached into the past to create something new in the present. The characters of Celtic symbology inspired me as well.
The whole experience was a gentle reminder of a playful, whimsical, fantastical, make believing and ancestral part of myself that I deeply enjoy.
The magnitude of decisions made on the trip, and the rush of creative ideas that have followed, have me a bit overwhelmed at the moment... and it's not over yet.
Another trip combining treasures of the past with adventures in the present and decisions for the future. Wow, this is an exciting time of integration and growth! Ah yes, SPRING!
