I'll start with this... My dear friend Shannon, who is always doing some thing interesting, inspired me to take a little adventure to Leona Valley to pick cherries. Guess what cherries look like? Swirly little red hearts!
It was such a pleasure to be out in nature, harvesting swirly little red hearts in the warm sun, wrapped in the arms of trees and leaves. It was a joyful experience! On our way back along Bouquet Canyon Road we stopped so I could sit beside the still waters of a stream. It refreshed my soul.

Connecting Women with Power Business Conference sounds extremely impressive doesn't it? That is what I attended on Thursday. It was quite informative with powerful women keynote speakers and panels of organizations offering tips and services. I was overwhelmed with information by the end of the day. I took lots of notes and gathered plenty of papers to review.
It is exciting to see so many things coming together beautifully with the help of many friends and strangers. It is the love of God at work in my life! I feel extremely blessed.
I'm looking forward to this coming week as I sort through all the information I received and consider how best to make use of it. Also, the last Burbank Art Association meeting of the season is coming up and that will be a fun party! Plus, I'll be packing and shipping "Full Heart" to a collector who has longed for it for years. How fulfilling!
