My favorite part about the markers is that it is drawing and painting at once! Plus they don't need water, so they are very portable, although they are water based and can dilute with water. They use acrylic paint instead of ink so they are lightfast and UV resistant. They are opaque so colors can paint over each other. They are also pretty quick drying.
Another great thing is that Montana sells refill paints and the tops of the markers unscrew (backward) to be refilled. The body of the markers is clear so you can see the color and how much is left. There is a little ball inside to help with the shaking up. Plus, Montana offers empty markers so you can mix unique colors or fill them with any acrylic ink or airbrush paint such as Golden High Flow acrylics.
In a couple of weeks when Aaron Brothers has plenty of inventory, I'll go back. I think I convinced the manager to order more sets and the nib replacements in all the varieties. I hope to be there again during the afternoon of Saturday, March 22nd. I hope you can come out and play with markers and me!
