The living room never really recovered from last year's renovations. By that I mean it didn't have furniture in it, only odd pieces and boxes in the corner. It was mostly a pass through to the other rooms that had become so vitally important during the renovations. We had expected we would move somewhere else so we just didn't bother to unpack. Yet we're still here and it looks like it may be the best place for us.
One of the article's questions asked, If you won a million dollars would you quit your job? I immediately thought no, I would work more. I marveled at my answer and wondered what that would look like and why would I need a million dollars to do it? The first thing I thought was that I would have a big studio, and I wouldn't be concerned about paying the bills, everything else on the list didn't really take money, only effort!
I'm a bit dumbfounded and moving a little slow now as I figure out how to put things in workable order. It is coming together bit by bit. It is very lovely to have all my books out and easily accessible, and to have all my canvases together in the house. The easel is ready, and all the supplies will find functional spots with a little time.
The large 36 x 36 painting, "Full Heart," with boxes is waiting to be prepared for shipping on my big work table. That will be the first order of business in my new studio! This is exciting! I now have the studio I needed, so I expect the bills to get paid just as miraculously, and all I have to do is get to work on those other things on the list!
