In the photo to the left you can see parts of my inspirational art collection mingled with a couple of my own paintings on the wall, as well as studio charts from Robert Burridge that I am studying. Liquid acrylics, inks, jars and tubes of paint, palette knives, paper towels, and spray bottles clutter the work table.
Two weeks ago, while I was still moving from my large studio into the house, I signed up to take a painting class with Christina Ramos. She is an amazingly realistic acrylic painter and in the first hour of class I gained tremendous knowledge that I've found helpful.
For fun, I slathered some crackle paste on a couple of canvas panels. I dripped acrylic inks on this one.
