When I first began painting, I would often make drawing after drawing of the subject matter and then make a painting. I was interested in the Holy Grail, it's stories and symbology, and have many drawn images of grails from the 1980's, including the one below.
This is my Good Friday offering..
Sometimes when I look at myself, I see all the mistakes and bad choices I've made. When I can lift my eyes to look beyond myself, I am set free by the light of great love and grace.
a project of showing artwork 6 days a week that lasted from January until June, 2014. In July it became sporadic, and as you can see August 1st is the last entry. It was a fun project, one I may repeat again in the future. Please enjoy scrolling through the artwork.
