This is my Throwback Thursday post, because my baby is just about to turn 18! This painting called, "Where I Am Now" was painted in 1996. It is mounted on a lazy susan so that it can turn. As a mom with three little kids sometimes I felt on top of the world, and sometimes it felt like the world was on top of me! Sometimes I just felt off kilter and sometimes my world was spinning! It is a fun painting representing a very special, fun, and exhausting time of my life.
I have plenty of artwork for sale, but this one is not.
This acrylic paint marker painting from last night reminds me of Christmas. I just found out that Christmastide starts Christmas Eve and goes through Epiphany, January 6th. It is also known as the 12 days of Christmas. How about that?
I'm wondering if this would be a nice image for a Christmas card. What do you think?
a project of showing artwork 6 days a week that lasted from January until June, 2014. In July it became sporadic, and as you can see August 1st is the last entry. It was a fun project, one I may repeat again in the future. Please enjoy scrolling through the artwork.
